Word Processor/Administrative Assistant (2057)

Word Processor/Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Manage all word processing requests for the group.
• Perform efficient, accurate and timely formatting of reports and letters ensuring “camera-ready” product for copying and follow through on completion and courier packages.
• Other general administrative functions including proposal coordination, filing etc, as required.
• Assist in Project Administration with other members of the division Administrative Team and Project Managers, such as filing, audit preparedness and internal documents.
• Other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Possess excellent Microsoft application skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience working with Style sheets (templates) and Advanced Section Breaks in Word.
• Proven exceptional work-ethic, self-motivated, and highly driven.
• Independent, pro-active and professional manner.
• Ability to act independently using sound judgement and initiative.
• Good verbal communication and writing skills are essential.
• Polished “follow up” and information gathering skills.
• Detail-oriented, with an emphasis on quality of work.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional role, within a highly demanding office environment.
• Excellent ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and scheduling skills.
