Part Time Warehouse & Customer Service - General Paint (Winnipeg)

This position will be required to assist in the Warehouse with inventory. The successful candidate MUST be able to lift 50lb pails of paint, and frequently throughout the day. Forklift experience is an asset, be sure to tell us what kind of forklift(s) you have experience operating. If you do not have Forklift experience, you must be willing to be trained.



During buys times, the successful candidate will also be required to help in the retail store. Duties include:



Determine customers’ needs for products/merchandise and/or information.
Tints and mixes paint to final specification.
Handle cash, credit cards and debit card payments on POS system.
Receives, handles, stores, retrieves, ships and documents stock.
Maintain tinting machine and other store equipment.
Maintain adequate supplies of retail products, ensuring shelves are full and product is faced.
Implement consumer sales merchandising policies and assist in building interior store displays.
Actively engage in special product promotions required by management.
Control wallcovering sample book library.
Perform “housekeeping” duties in retail stores.
Follow Company procedures in preparing sales and credit documents.
May be responsible for taking daily deposits to the bank.



Flexible hours required, as well as working on Saturdays, the store is closed Sundays. This position has the potential to work up to 40 hours per week. General Paint offers competitive wages and opportunities for growth.



Requirements of a General Paint Customer Service Representative are previous experience in a retail, paint or design environment and be able to left 50lb pails of paint. Forklift experience is an asset. Customer Service Representatives must also complete Paint Pro University within the first three months of employment.
