Proficiently perform customer service representative/teller functions such as opening deposit accounts, processing transactions with accuracy and balances according to the Bank’s standards, procedures and policies. Increase the Bank’s market share by maximizing sales opportunities through relationship management and business development efforts.
Job functions:
* Demonstrate awareness, commitment and dedication to servicing and building customer relationship
* Gain full knowledge of the products and services offered by the Bank
* Promote bank products, contributes to referrals and refer or resolve customer inquiries concerning accounts or other banking services
* Responsible for operational compliance and adherence to bank policies and procedures
* Gain full understanding of the teller function with the anticipation that it may be necessary to act as a teller as needed
* Perform routine clerical duties, including filing, answering the phone and other duties as required
Job Requirements
* Regularly work at least 20 hours a week
* Must have recent cash handling, customer service and sales experience preferred
* Must have reliable transportation
* Must be flexible and able to adapt to new job locations and re-assignments as directed
* Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the hours of operation of the Bank, including Saturday mornings
* Ability to lift 25 pounds
* Fluent in written and verbal English communication skills
* Basic knowledge of keyboard and computer skills
* Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with the use of a calculator
* Must have basic business acumen and professionalism
* Ability to build strong relationships and alliances across the organization, exceed customer expectations, ability to adapt to change, reliable and highly motivated.
