Director Business Development (Aluminium SBU)
 

Description • Aligns the development and execution of business development across the SBU functions.
• Leads the annual business development process for the SBU and generate a healthy pipeline of growth opportunities within the metals value chains.
• Develops the strategic plan to achieve business targets through Developing a healthy pipeline of growth opportunities in aluminium business, both upstream and downstream, and prepares the annual business Development and Finance in evaluating these growth opportunities.
• Design a system to continuously expand the aluminium business through negotiating with investors and new venture partners.
• Present various business opportunities to the planning section and department’s manager to defend and justify these investments to the President and Board members if required.
• Devises a system of monitoring progress and coordinate with various external and internal entities to projects progress form one stage to the next.
Skills • A Bachelor Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or Engineering and an MBA or equivalent.
• 15+ years of industry background with at least 8 years in a management role in an industry, consulting or project organization.
• High-energy strategic thinker with strong analytical and business judgment skills.
• Proven track record of leading planning process in large organization.
• A competitive results oriented attitude.
• Strategy and/or planning experience for large enterprises.
• Project management experience including multi-team, multi-project responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results through complex cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated leadership through influence and collaboration rather than direct control.
• True team player and leader, with ability to manage ambiguity.
• Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to deliver high quality work under pressure of tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English.
• Computer literate (PC applications)
