Lead Management Accountant
 

• Oversee the Management Accounting functions and to ensure timely and accurate management reporting on key operating drivers pertaining to important operating resources.
• Provide assistance to the Finance Team in financial strategy and planning, reporting and management and development of policies, systems, processes and personnel involved.
• Ensuring the financial reporting, controls and processes are in line with “best practice” and the business operates in established internal controls whilst achieving its financial targets.
• Responsible to prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts with focus on product revenue, feedstock cost, gross and net margins along with variance analysis, cost investigation and ad hoc financial analysis on resource consumption and capital expenditures.
• Safeguarding of intangible and tangible assets and liaise with functional managers to put the finance view in context.
• Provide necessary support and direction for the implementation of ERP system with focus on Financial and Controlling Modules.
• Oversee the operating and capital expenditure budgeting and to keep track of important operational decisions.
• Implementing various internal controls and risk management system.
Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting /Finance or related field from recognized University with an accreditation such as CMA, ACCA or CA.
• 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible experience of management accounting operations and information systems in well reputed international or local organization.
• Complete understanding of accounting principles, international financial reporting standards, budgeting techniques and costing methodologies.
• Ability to work logically, consistently and accurately with good analytical mindset and commercial judgment.
• Ability to deal with numerous financial tasks with different timelines.
• Effective communication, interpersonal, analytical and technology skills with working knowledge of financial systems
