Our client, a renowned petrochemical and refining service provider based in the Middle East, currently require a Vendor Management Analyst to add to their ever-growing and experienced engineering staff in Abu Dhabi
Description Basic Function:
• Handling independently Company Registration formalities. Maintain an updated Commercial Directory.
• Workshop on SAP regarding registration of new vendors / Contractors / manufacturers and maintain & update Company Vendor Master.
• Review / Monitor / keep record of registered Suppliers’ / Contractors’ / Manufacturer’s general performance. Produce Vendor Performance Reports.
• Regular coordination with Vendors to familiarize with the market trends in line with the Company / End User requirements.
• Liaison with End User Users / Inventory Controller / Materials Engineers / Planners to make sure material data, specification codes and purchase texts are appropriate and updated in the Company Material Master.
• Coordinate with Internal / External Auditors related to vendor registration, qualification and performance.
• Assist Purchasing and Contracts Departments for completing approved Bidders List.
• Produce reports as and when required related to the Functional Responsibilities and Business Needs.
• Assist Senior Vendor Management Analyst and Procurement Support Manager as and when required.
• Prepare and send Budget inquiries (RFI), receive quotes and coordinate with the respective User Functions / Department, as and when required.
Skills • Engineering Degree
• At least 8 years total with 3 years in the oil, gas or petrochemical companies
• Technical review of products and services. General assessment of Supplier, Manufacturers and Contractors. SAP experience (MM module preferable)
• Supervisory skills required
• Knowledge of computer is essential. Good communication skills. Good command of English both spoken and written.
