Established and growing client base consists of Machining, Mortgage Bankers, Non Profits, and Employee Benefit Plans.
Audit Senior, Public Accounting
Seeking a career-oriented professional who is looking for future ownership opportunities. This position requires someone with 3 -4 years experience working in a public accounting firm with hands-on experience conducting full audits. Competitive salary and full benefits package available. Minimum overnight travel of less than 5%.
Our ideal candidate will be a CPA with recent audit experience in such industries as Financial Institutions, Mortgage-backed lenders, Nonprofits/A-133 Organizations and Employee Benefit Plans. Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In the role of Audit Senior, your primary responsibilities will be to organize and execute audits, working closely with senior management to plan engagements. Develop and maintain strong client relationships. Adapt audit approach to the changing client environment. Maintain current and update professional and technical knowledge through CPE.
Job Requirements
SUCCESS FACTORS:
• Minimum of 3-4 years experience auditing small to medium-size businesses
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting
• CPA certificate
• Familiarity with Accounting and Auditing standards (ex: Fair Market Valuation)
• Solid technical knowledge and skills with ability to plan & close an Audit
• Proficient computer skills are essential. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and QuickBooks software is required
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact well with clients and associates
• Individual and corporate tax experience a plus
