Retail Project Manager for Retail Expansion
 

Green Mountain Hammocks is expanding! Our hammocks and outdoor products, now available through Costco’s Special Events Program, are such a success we’ve been asked to expand into California, Oregon and Washington in 2010.

We need an extraordinary, enthusiastic and energetic Retail Project Manager to manage the success of this exciting project.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years experience in successfully managing the logistics of expansion, preferably in the retail sector, and a proven track record of being on time and under budget.

RETAIL PROJECT MANAGER

Credentials: Project management experience required, certification a plus.

Experience: 3 years with some retail related experience preferred but not necessary

Work Setting: Privately Owned company

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Windows, General office equipment, Electronic mail, Electronic scheduler, Word processing software, Spreadsheet software, Presentation software, Database software, Project management software, Web site creation and management software, Desktop publishing software

Staff Responsibility: 1 - 10

Area of Specialization: Project Management

Specific Skills: Plan, organize and direct daily operations; Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs; Plan, oversee the preparation of reports, prepare reports; Advise senior management; Oversee and develop promotional materials; Conduct site visits; Develop and execute internal communication plan, policies and procedures, Interact and communicate with corporate clients; Develop and oversee product distribution and warehouse management; Develop a successful project plan, schedule and budget, including tracking each component during the project
Additional Skills: Plan and control budget and expenditures; Recruit and hire staff, train staff, arrange for training of staff; Conduct performance reviews
