RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
Inspect, test and perform Operations & Maintenance (O&M) preventative maintenance inspections on mechanical, electrical and automatic temperature control equipment utilizing results oriented strategies to ensure continuing operation. Some judgment is necessary to determine when assistance is needed.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES: NOTE: Must have Electro Mechanic experience with C license.
1. Inspect and diagnose mechanical systems using a variety of tools and instruments.
2. Perform specified preventative maintenance including belt adjustments, oiling, greasing and cleaning of equipment.
3. Perform prescribed non-destructive tests; collect and deliver samples for analysis.
4. Communicate with the owner, or the owner's representative, on the work performed and present status of the mechanical system.
5. Interpret engineering drawings in reference to layout, location and operation of the system(s).
6. Respond to identified customer needs.
7. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.1.Note: Must have Electro Mechanic experience with C license..
2.Technical degree in HVAC or a minimum of four years experience as an O&M HVAC Specialist III.
3. Ability to successfully complete the required company training.
4. Capable of effectively representing JCI to our customers.
5. Working knowledge of personal computers.
6. French speaking is a plus, but not required.
