Senior Commercial Real Estate Project Manager #3709CM
 

Are you well connected in the community and able to manage major commercial real estate projects from start to finish? Our client, the world’s largest commercial real estate services firm, is looking for a Senior Commercial Real Estate Project Manager to be located in Edmonton. This role is responsible for the supervision, management, and marketing activities of an assigned market. A large part of the role is business development and project execution of commercial construction and real estate related projects.

Job description:

• Negotiate, prepare and perform all aspects of contract administration including owner contracts, vendors, change orders, project start-up, and closeout
• Represent the company in a business development role to outside consultants, architects, and clients at networking events, presentations, etc.
• Foster business with brokers and local market contacts
• Execute all phases of project management and planning for projects including design, pre-construction and procurement, profitability, cost control, scheduling, staffing, and quality control
• Manage the planning, organization, and controls of a business unit
• Prepare accurate, timely and complete reports


This company will expect from you:

• Post secondary degree
• Five plus years experience in the commercial construction and real estate industry or a related field or role
• Strong background in contract negotiations
• PMP and LEED certifications preferred
• Strong communication skills and able to represent the company professionally to clients and employees
• Able to work with minimal supervision and independently
• Have the ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret complex business documents
• Be able to write manuals, reports and presentations
• Be able to negotiate effectively with others
• Possess advanced financial skills and knowledge
• Extensive connections within the local community
