Field Accountant - ongoing opportunities!

My client is a large oil and gas service company that is in need of an onsite field accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to show your ability to be adaptable, work in a really fast paced and exciting environment, and deal directly with Project Managers and Sr. Accountants.
This position is a 2 month contract with opportunity to become a permanent employee of the company. They are open to working with up and coming candidates to train them into project based accounting.

Your duties include:
• Complete month end reporting req’s on AP and AR
• Assist project managers and be able to present information to stakeholders
• Track onsite LEMS (Labour, Equipment, and Materials)
• Liaise with vendors and clients
• Perform full cycle AP and AR for site

This company will expect from you:
• knowledge accounting principles (1-2 years’ experience)
• Working towards a designation preferred or sufficient experience
• Experience in both AP or AR with practical knowledge of project based operations
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and project managers

In return you can expect:
• $21 - $25/hr based on experience
• Hands on training and the chance to be a part of a truly strong accounting team
