Field Accountant - ongoing opportunities!
My client is a large oil and gas service company that is in need of an onsite field accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to show your ability to be adaptable, work in a really fast paced and exciting environment, and deal directly with Project Managers and Sr. Accountants.
This position is a 2 month contract with opportunity to become a permanent employee of the company. They are open to working with up and coming candidates to train them into project based accounting.
Your duties include:
Complete month end reporting reqs on AP and AR
Assist project managers and be able to present information to stakeholders
Track onsite LEMS (Labour, Equipment, and Materials)
Liaise with vendors and clients
Perform full cycle AP and AR for site
This company will expect from you:
knowledge accounting principles (1-2 years experience)
Working towards a designation preferred or sufficient experience
Experience in both AP or AR with practical knowledge of project based operations
Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors and project managers
In return you can expect:
$21 - $25/hr based on experience
Hands on training and the chance to be a part of a truly strong accounting team
