As the next Rentals Manager - Oil Field Rentals Division, you know you are not just an order taker and instead you can proactively make a business case and seek opportunities for new business. We need someone who is driven to increase sales, curious about what new products should be taken on and the ROI of these decisions. Our client has been in the oilfield services industry for over 60 years and has a strong reputation in satisfying their customers and treating their employees well. We want someone who knows the oil patch, has a great network and knows how to use it!
Responsible for obtaining profitable results through effective leadership of the companys oilfield rentals division.
Identify new business opportunities and proactively build business cases to obtain new products
Manage a team of approximately 30 including shop staff and the sales team.
Support staff with interpretation of contract terms, conditions of rental agreements, and client conflict resolution
Work closely with the maintenance and asset management team to manage maintenance plan/schedules, work timing and work scope
Develop revenue forecasts, assess workflows and provide recommendations to restructure resources
Participate in marketing activities and provide recommendations including inventory allocation and rental rates
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What The Company Expects From You:
Strong product knowledge and experience within the oil servicing industry
A passion to drive new business and able to spot trends in the oil patch industry
Proven track record in leading a large team to meet or exceed performance expectations
Strong business acumen, ability to conduct product and financial analysis and to make a business case
Extensive knowledge and experience in the oil drilling and servicing industry
5+ years of managerial experience, ideally in an oil servicing rental environment
