Site Project Scheduler (Fort McMurray, AB)

Our established client in the construction/fabrication industry is looking for an Site Project Scheduler to join their thriving team in Fort McMurray, AB.

In this position you will be responsible for:

Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager
Work closely with the Project Manager
Solicit assignments from the Project Manager regularly to ensure proper work distribution.
Participate in project kick-off meetings and play an active role in the development of Construction Method Statements.
Prepare, maintain, and update project schedules in conjunction with production scheduling including progress and performance reporting.
Work with Site Superintendant and Project Manager to develop construction schedule and update on a regular basis set out by the project requirements.
Trouble shooting day to day project schedule issues as directed by the Project Manager and Superintendent.
Attend site meetings.
Compile data, manage, and maintain, project schedule and submit to customer on a timely basis.
Compile data and information for historical statistical database.


This company will expect from you:


Minimum High School Diploma Required
3+ years experience in a similar environment or a closely related discipline
Certificate in Maintenance Asset Planning (MAP) a real asset
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and other required computer software
Proficiency in oral and written English
Familiar with Primavera Scheduling Software and asset
High energy and initiative; Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work within a team environment
