They need a strong leader who can implement process improvements, performance measurements and hold others accountable. A strong knowledge of heavy industrial equipment, fleet management and maintenance is also required. The role is located permanently in Fort McMurray. What does success look like?
You will manage the fleet including controlling fleet levels and maintaining all units
You can manage the day to day operations of the branch and remote locations including leading, managing, training and holding accountable a staff of mechanics and drivers
You can manage all direct operating expenses and financial aspects of the business
You will seek change to continuously improve the business
You will ensure safety and environmental standards are met or exceeded
You will work closely with the clients focusing on customer service to not only maintain but grow the business
Highly skilled in business practices, including execution of lean principals, process improvements and change management
A candidate with 5+ years experience in an operations management role in the industrial equipment industry
A candidate with strong leadership and decision making skills
Able to understand financial requirements to drive success
Able to build strong teams and customer relationships
