One of Albertas top tier, industrial contracting companies is on the hunt for a senior leader. This position would report directly to the owners and be a key member of the executive team. Our client, an established industrial contracting company positioned for high growth, is searching for a strong senior level leader to fill a General Manager position. This leadership role is responsible for directing operations and managing business processes in their western Canada division. The General Manager must also drive new business so ideally you have a strong established network.
Manage operations of a major business unit that is positioned for fast growth
Establish annual sales forecasts for sales and manufacturing
Responsible for approve budget, expenditures, and appropriations
Lead teams to success through effective training, performance management and accountability to role expectations and goals
Manage business processes, coordinate production, sales distribution, and establish territories
Review market analyses to determine needs, volume potential, price schedules and to develop and accommodate achievable goals and growth of company plan
Build and diversify client base

10+ years experience in a senior leadership role, ideally in an industrial contracting and construction environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide vision and direction
Strong business acumen and financial background including full P&L and management reporting
Proven track record to mentor, train and build a collaborative and inclusive culture
