My client is publicly-traded and a leader in their field. They have a work hard and play hard attitude; they hire the best of the best on their accounting team. In the role of Sr Financial / Compliance Analyst, you will report directly to the Controller.
What does success look like?
-You will be accountable for ensuring compliance to internal controls, liaising closely not only with your peers in accounting, but also with many levels of operations throughout the organization
-You will own the process for control documentation, including all reporting, updates and changes
-You will look for opportunities to improve existing controls, and implement new controls as required
-Your strength in analysis will be key in reviewing period-end reporting and providing timely variance commentary
-You will be called upon to assist in various areas of the period-end cycle, growing your overall accounting skill set while adding value to the process
-A designated CA
-Public practice experience required, 1-2 years’ industry experience is an asset
-A very strong communicator, written and verbal
-A technically strong accountant
