My client has branches across Canada and the United States, delivering cost effective engineering solutions. They are committed to exceeding their customers' needs. In the role of Project Accountant, you will have the opportunity to use your technical accounting expertise.
What does success look like?
-You will own the month end revenue and billing process for various key projects
-You will help guide and educate Project Managers in better understanding their numbers; ultimately assisting in improved profitability for the company
-As projects close, you will allocate all costs appropriately to ensure a true and accurate picture of profitability
-Your value-added reporting is timely and accurate
-You have the knowledge to appropriately adjust budgets and forecasts based on new information from Project Managers
-You will be accountable for full cycle AP and AR for your projects
-A college graduate with an Accounting diploma
-An experienced accountant, with 2-3 years' experience in a professional services organization
-Ideally experienced with ERP systems
-Someone with project accounting experience would be a definite asset
