Our client is a growing general contractor operating in Western Canada. They currently have opportunities for Construction Managers in both Calgary and Edmonton. As specialists in institutional, commercial and light industrial projects our client is looking to draw candidates with experience in these areas. Candidates whose experience is predominantly industrial (oil and gas) or residential will not be shortlisted.

You must have a minimum of 8 years of “hands-on” experience in the capacity of project manager supplemented by other aspects of construction management including cost estimating. This experience should include direct project management of large commercial, high rise, and/or institutional construction projects $100M-$250M and greater.

This position requires an experienced commercial construction project manager possessing well-developed people and project management skills and sound business judgment. You must demonstrate a successful track record on large-scale projects ($100M-$250M+) together with strong leadership and management skills and effective decision-making capabilities.
