Our client is a leading general contractor operating across Canada. They currently have need of a Mechanical & Electrical Manager for a premier office development in Calgary.

Your role will be to ensure compliance to quality standards throughout all phases of the mechanical and electrical (M&E) construction process. Plan, direct and co-ordinate all on-site M&E activities to comply with applicable owner, contract and government specifications, requirements and codes. Recommend acceptance or rejection of work in process and completed work activities. You will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, subcontractors and consultants.

It is essential you have worked in a similar position on a large commercial high rise project in Canada. You should have managed an M&E package of works valued at no less that $50 million. Educational and experience requirements include a relevant degree plus two to five years (minimum) similar construction experience.
Equivalent combinations of training and/or related experience will be considered.

Sound knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering systems, principles and practices required.
