EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum two years post-secondary diploma or studies in computer sciences, website design and development, information technologie management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Knowledge of ASP.net,web 2.0, Javascript, Photoshop, ADO.Net,
HTML, DOM Scripting, Web page design layout using CSS,Cross platform/browser compatibility, Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Flash, AJAX.Net, JQuery or Prototype.
Ability to meet deadlines and to set priorities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
-Experience in web application interface development including.
-Experience with dynamic data driven web applications.
-Experience with ASP.Net.
INDUSTRY CANADA ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
In order to be eligible to participate in this Youth Employment Program, the student must:
1. be between the age of 15 and 30 years.
2. be Canadian citizen or permanent resident or person who has been granted refugee status or international student visa in Canada.
International student or graduate must have valid work permit in Canada.
3. be enrolled in a post-secondary education program or have recently graduated from such program and intending to return to school; and
4. be pursuing education in computer science, computer engineering, and Programming or Web development.
5. The student will have to complete and sign an Industry Canada Participant Information Form (PIF) prior to the start of the internship.
