- Professional degree in Urban & Regional Planning and full membership in the Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP) is required with a minimum of 7 years diverse public and private sector work experience;
- Excellent verbal, design, report-writing and graphic communication with public facilitation skills are a must; Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and desktop publishing and graphics programs (e.g. Photoshop) required; knowledge of GIS an asset;
- Demonstrated leadership, project management and business development skills - able to complete assignments on time and within budget and supervise technical execution of work;
Preference will be given to persons who have lived and/or worked in the North and who also have cross-cultural experience. Foreign nationals fluent in English with equivalent qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply. A minimum of 3 work references is required.
