Territory Sales Manager
 

GN Jabra (U.S.A.) is a world technology leader in the design and manufacture of telephone headsets and hands free communications devices. The company has been first to market with both wireless and corded technology for office, call center, mobile and PC Audio applications. The company recently announced its second generation of products operating on the Bluetooth wireless platform. These and many planned technological innovations have created an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned sales professional. This is a position with unlimited growth opportunities.


The candidate will be responsible for launching and implementing the channel sales efforts including product and sales training within the specified region. The candidate must create, execute and present sales and marketing programs in these accounts, and work closely with these accounts to implement end-user sales strategies. This person must be able to make professional sales presentations to both large end-user accounts as well as to channel management and channel sales representatives to make them expert at selling the product, and work closely with channel sales personnel to achieve end-user sales goals. The successful candidate will have experience in implementing, tracking and achieving a well prepared sales plan, which includes:

• Developing and executing strategic sales plans with the goal to maintain or exceed the company’s planned growth rate;
• Achieving established end-user (POS) target revenues;
• Achieving reseller recruitment initiatives
• Creating and implementing product launch programs with specified regional channels;
• Identify end-user requirements and present appropriate GN product and service solutions;
• Supporting the resale of products through product, sales, and application training;
• Jointly working to close large accounts with channel sales representatives;
• Directing and supporting end-user focused inside sales activities
• Having knowledge of and demonstrating competence with contact management software, and Microsoft programs.


EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three to five years successful outside sales experience with telecommunications/high tech products. The candidate must have successful experience developing channel partners and success in generating large account sales. He/She must have successful group presentation experience. The candidate must be an expert user of customer contact software, Excel, Power Point and Word. She/He must have proven ability to regularly meet and exceed quotas.




JOB SUMMARY:
Operating as a member of the GN sales team, the Territory Sales Manager is responsible for managing existing end-user business while driving to uncover and close new large account opportunities. The Territory Sales Manager is also responsible for reseller recruitment, channel development and distribution support with all branches and offices operating within specified region.. He or she will execute plans to increase product exposure and sales revenue. Overnight travel required is approximately 50%.

Will be capable of determining the effectiveness of an approach and able to make the appropriate adjustment to achieve maximum results. Bilingualism would be considered an asset.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Become expert on all GN products and applications as related to products sold by channels in the region.
• Meet or exceed all regional end-user point-of-sale (POS) revenue objectives by recruiting resellers, delivering product and sales training with the appropriate channel partners, and by working on larger end-user sales opportunities.
• Identify and pursue new opportunities with appropriate channel partners.
• Be accountable for accurate and comprehensive sales planning, and forecasting.
• Develop, execute and implement plans with measurable results. Take appropriate corrective action where required. Communicate plans and results to sales management and cross-functional teams as required.
• Analyze and interpret business sector economic and organization information to formulate forecasts, estimates and projections that impact selling initiatives.
• Recommend, establish and execute programs and procedures that will increase revenue, gross margin and other key metric performance.
• Maintain account records as needed for efficient account management.
• Keep management informed of issues that could effect the growth and development of individuals, the department and/or the company.
• Perform other related tasks or duties as required.
