As a Jr. Mortgage Consultant, your duties include:
* Develop referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers and other sources for the purpose of originating residential loans through ongoing sales efforts
* Remain front line contact with customer and realtors for follow up documentation needed to approve and close loan
As a Jr. Mortgage Consultant, you must possess:
* Strong communication skills
* Superior relationship management skills, including written and listening skills
* Flexibility, organization and self-direction
* Punctuality, accountability and strongly driven to achieve
* Committed to ongoing education; you will work towards obtaining a mortgage agent licence with FSCO to increase your income potential
As a Jr. Mortgage Consultant, you will train on the following with a Senior Mortgage Broker:
* Mortgage underwriting and lenders’ guidelines
* Qualifying a mortgage deal / credit loan application
* Credit bureaus
* Different lending products of banks, mortgage lenders and insurers
