Position Overview
Keeran Systems requires a full-time, permanent sales representative to expand and maintain our customer base. Minimum 5 years in proven sales ability, superior communication and organizational skills, and dedicated self-motivation are required. Must be able to hit the ground running.
Essential Job Functions
Originate sales/leads or prospects
Organize presentations/demonstrations
Draft quotes and present proposals
Close sales leads
Follow-up with clients/accounts
Work with technology staff for presentations/demos/implementation
Non-Essential Job Functions
In depth experience with Microsoft Server related products, clustering, disaster recovery, storage, etc.
Ability to articulate complex technical solutions for IT engagements in the form of detailed architecture plans and technical proposals
Ability to produce end to end infrastructure documents including functional and technical specifications
Strong project management methodology understanding
Strong customer relations
Ability to work with vendors to evaluate their fit for a client's solution
Depth of knowledge in Microsoft solutions to work closely with external clients and develop infrastructure solutions with recommendations
Experience designing data centers and/or disaster recovery centers
Ability to work with sales people and go on mature sales calls to assist in selling the solution
Previous consulting experience an asset.
Plan daily-weekly-monthly customer contacts and prospecting strategies.
Makes daily sales contacts with customers and prospects through appointment, drop-in, telephone, and mail.
Cold calls and follows-up to develop prospects and customers.
Develops accounts through relationship building.
Produces estimates and quotes, and processes orders.
Implements consultative and solution selling strategies.
Ensures timely reporting of Sales activities & results.
Carries out other related projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL
Experienced cold calling
Solid lead generation
Motivated, self-starter, excellent presentation and communication skills
IT background
Experience with MS Office and ideally also with a Client Relationship Management program.
An acceptance of, and commitment to work according to, the organizations policy.
DESIRABLE
High level oral and written English-language skills.
At least 2 years experience in the IT service industry or related field in a selling capacity. Must bring some potential contacts.
Demonstrated ability to grow a territory by increasing sales of existing customers and generating new customers.
Excellent research skills to identify new opportunities.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high volume of activities.
Excellent contact management skills.
Excellent customer service orientation and ability to build relationships.
