Responsibilities:
• Research, develop and implement a Brand and Communication strategy
• Development of key messages for all audiences to communicate our core brand identity
• Execute all communication activities and public relations (marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases, etc)
• Plan, organize and coordinate client and prospective client seminars, speaking engagements, events
• Update and maintain website content
• Design, edit and distribute monthly and special edition newsletters
• Development of Financial Software
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure proper messaging of company beliefs and service offerings
• Advertising initiatives for Small Business Owners
• Creative Copy, Book Design & Edit
• Perform related work as required
Qualifications:
• Marketing certificate, diploma or 1 year of experience in marketing and communications leadership role.
• Thorough understanding of branding principles and tactics through multimedia including the Web
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high client expectations
• Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Contribute, Photoshop, Quark, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Visual Basic and HTML preferred but not required
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high client expectations
