A major US industrial roofing company requires professional, experienced outside sales reps for their MONTREAL, QC. The position is perfect for that person wishing to join a solid company with great prospects. The company is well established; a leader in their industry and more importantly it is well funded. They are expanding rapidly and need a great sales rep to help continue this growth. To succeed in this business requires not only the ability to learn and apply product knowledge and selling techniques: it also requires genuine desire to solve problems and to build long-term relationships with your customers.

THE OFFER

The employer is offering a base salary of $70 000 + 25 % commission on ALL sales. Medical and pension plans are also included. The employer does not pay relocation fees, as they insist that the candidate dwell within the territory. Full training to be conducted in Cleveland, OH 2 weeks initially followed by an additional 2 weeks after 6 months of field training in the territory.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be required to canvass construction companies, architects, building managers and owners as well as local authorities who oversee the maintenance of municipal buildings such as schools etc, with the goal of developing new business and the employers presence in the territory.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years outside sales experience in big tickets sales. Experience in the commercial and or industrial roofing arena is a major plus. A college degree is a absolute must along with a strong desire to make a six figure income.
