JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview
The Wait Staff is accountable for all aspects of prompt and courteous service to all customers. This is accomplished through adherence to a consistently high level of customer service standards that are focused on initiating an environment encouraging repeated customer visits.
Position Highlights
* Greet customers and deliver quick, friendly and courteous service
* Ensure all food service customer standards are achieved
* Comply with company standards regarding cleaning and food service operations
* Ability to resolve customer issues/concerns at point of contact
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES
* Initiate, communicate and maintain guest interaction
* Continually anticipate guests needs
* Maintain a safe and sanitary work station and environment
* Record and reconcile cash and product variances daily
* Maintain communication with back of the house staff
* Operate your work station in accordance to all Fire, Health, AGCO regulations
and laws governing the province
* Maintain daily, weekly side duties and cleaning schedules
* Maintain service standards, opening and closing duties
* Have extensive product knowledge and be familiar with all specials and
promotions
* Balance all cash and credit cards at end of each shift with accuracy
* Enhance revenues through suggestive selling techniques
* All other duties assigned by the Manager on duty
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
* Experience in the service industry preferred
* Out-going with a great personality
* Willingness to learn and be part of a team
* Must be able to work flexible hours.
* Good communication skills
* Micros System Experience an asset
* Serving It Right certified
* Highly motivated
