JOB DESCRIPTION
Overview
The Food Service Cook is accountable for all aspects of prompt preparation of meals and the cleanliness and maintenance of the kitchen areas. This is accomplished through adherence to a consistently high level of customer service standards that are focused on initiating an environment encouraging repeated customer visits.
Position Highlights
* Create brand new menu with Owners
* Efficient execution of opening and closing routines of the kitchen
* Responsible for cleaning, maintenance of the preparation/storage areas of the restaurant and all equipment located in those areas
* Ensure that a safe workplace is maintained on a daily basis, in accordance with company and provincial regulations
* Ensure all food service & kitchen standards are achieved and maintained
* Comply with company standards regarding cleaning and food service operations
Qualifications
* Friendly, outgoing, customer focused individuals who excel in a team environment
* Food service / cook experience an asset
* Effective communications skills
* Highly motivated
