Our client is a leading web development firm. They work with organizations to build and host their websites, provide search engine optimization and develop email marketing campaigns. They have a talented team of designers, developers and software products to serve their customers. Their clients tend to be mid-sized manufacturing firms.
You will be responsible for hunting and acquiring new business. This is a new opportunity. Up until now, the President has been the prime sales person. Your mandate will be to network and prospect for new business, work with clients to develop their online strategies and sell web development projects. Average size sales are $15,000.
The position offers a salary of $50,000 and total income of $100,000. The role is ideally suited to an innovative sales person who has a passion for the web.
Requirements:
-5+ years outside sales experience of digital marketing, web development, content management or related services
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Proven track record of business development and hunting for new business
-Ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment where you have a great deal of autonomy to grow the sales
-Passionate about the web, web marketing and the possibilities of these programs
