Established in 1994, Caring for First Nations Children Society (CFNCS) works in cooperation with Social Development programs to protect and foster the well being of First Nations people by reaffirming traditions and beliefs, encouraging progressive and effective social development service delivery and empowering the voices of First Nations peoples. The team is dedicated to providing culturally based professional development programs and information to First Nations Social Development Employees in British Columbia.

Caring for First Nations Children Society is currently recruiting an Associate Director to join our team. This is an excellent career developmental and succession opportunity for someone striving to make a difference in service delivery to First Nations Children and Families.

The Associate Director reports directly to the Executive Director and is responsible for providing confidential and executive level managerial, planning, strategic and tactical implementation assistance and expertise to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. The Associate Director assumes the responsibilities of the Executive Director in their absence and directly supervises staff and contractors while in the acting capacity.
