were purchasing investment properties together. With the knowledge and experience that was
gained over several years, these investors developed a unique turnkey solution for others who
were looking to participate and benefit from the safety and value of investment properties.
Vision Investment Properties operates globally and has offices in countries including Malaysia
and Japan.
Role
Vision is looking for a RESULTS ORIENTED leader who will be responsible for delivering a sales plan and driving growth within the company. As an integral member of the sales department at Vision Investment Properties, the Business Development Manager will become an expert in consulting with investors and customers in purchasing investment property in Western Canada. The Business Development Manager shall carry out the policies, procedures, and day to day functions of the Sales groups. The Business Development Manager must be a self-motivated team member willing to work in a close knit environment that promote the exchange of information between the Sales Associate, Marketing and other members of the Sales team.
Responsibilities
Overall
Define and follow up of yearly sales targets and objectives
Stay current with trends within the marketplace
Develop and implement sales strategies for new products and services
Determine new sales opportunities by analyzing business needs
Provide direction, guidance to the marketing and sales department to ensure alignment with the company’s strategies
Account Management
Increase the company’s involvement with existing clients
Serve as a lead facilitator both internally and externally for projects
Business Development and Marketing
Proactively hunt for target organizations and establish communications with those businesses/organizations that can benefit from our company’s services or partnerships with us
Further develop multi-tier relationships to organically grow the clients’ accounts
Build referral and lead generation network
Understands clients' needs
Build and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and clients
Assist the organization gain a better market share by identifying, recommending and implementing improved selling and marketing strategies
Participate in key result area and key performance indicator review processes to establish areas for improvement
Assist in the development of the corporate brand strategy
Assist with the development and management of marketing tools and collateral for existing and new clients
Support marketing activities, including trade shows, mailings, email strategy, etc.
Implement business models so as to create new ventures
The successful candidate must be results oriented, willing to listen, learn, share and participate across all departments. You need excellent people skills and the ability to both give direction and be a self-starter. Success in this position will be tracked both by the number of new clients, top line revenue growth and productivity per client - selling more to existing clients.
Desired Skills & Experience
Requirements
A Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science and at least 4 years experience, preferably within or related to the real estate and/or financial industry
A proactive self-starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team
A proven ability to build strong client relationships
A proven ability to achieve and exceed set targets
Outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills
Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills
High business acumen and a record of confidence dealing with middle managers through to decision makers
Occasional travel within the province
Desirable
Experience in the real estate industry
Experience in the local property market
An understanding of both local and national real estate markets
Knowledge of effective sales and marketing strategies relevant to the industry
Relevant formal training
