Job Description:
They are looking for a Senior and Intermediate Instrumentation Engineer in Edmonton, AB.
Responsibilities:
• Providing general instrument/controls support to project teams in a manner complimentary to Colt Engineering’s organization.
• Organize and provide instrument/controls support to specific plan design activities.
• Scope of work involves participation in development of plant component scopes, coordinating detailed engineering effort, workload and manpower management and mentoring team members as and when required.
• Provide instrument/control support to construction activities as the demand arises.
• Assist with post construction and pre-startup activities as required by client.
• Assist clients with planning of activities.
• Specific skills in the area of control systems such as Honeywell and Foxboro are required.
• As well provide post-commissioning support as part of an on-site fix-up team, determining the control and Instrument requirements as part of a multidiscipline organization.
Qualifications:
• Experience designing I&C for oil and gas extraction and refining facilities is necessary, but may consider design experience in petrochemical or power generation contexts
• Design and specify DCS TPS/TDC 3000, GUS, APP, US, HPM/APM, LCN, UCN PLC, SCADA, HMI. Honeywell, Foxboro, Emerson, etc.
Relocation expenses may be considered for the right candidate.
