Job Description:
They are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer in Edmonton, AB.
Responsibilities:
You will work in an integrated team with a focus on the design of civil earthworks and/or underground structures for oil and gas, power generation, and petrochemical facilities.
You will be involved in the calculation and design of the following:
Rough and finished grading
Road and railroad access
Cut and fill analysis
Drainage calculations
Retaining walls
Tank farms, ponds
Site layout and design
Water and sewer lines
Fire water systems
Piped in utilities
Oily water lines
Qualifications and Desired Qualities:
B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
Member in good standing with APEGGA; or eligibility for membership in APEGGA
At least five years experience in the design of earthworks and/or underground structures for large oil and gas, power generation, or petrochemical facilities
Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation and AutoDesk
Previous experience in an EPC or EPCM environment
Previous experience in a lead role or on multi-disciplinary project teams
