Job Description:
They are looking for a SmartPlant Instrumentation System Administrator in Edmonton, AB.
Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for the use of SmartPlant Instrumentation (SPI) as system administrator and domain administrator of version 7.00.08
• Provide ongoing support for the operation of SPI in owner / operator mode including using the merge / claim functionality
• Responsible for retrieval and management of data in relational database to sustain both day-to-day and long-term objectives of an operating facility
Work with access rights, permission groups, and system hierarchy structure, as well as, be responsible for designing and creating database queries, reports, and customization using standard software applications
Qualifications:
Related post secondary education with relative experience
Familiarity and knowledge with any Structured Query Language (SQL) is essential
Understanding of software like Infomaker, PowerBuilder, Citrix and Oracle databases will be an asset
Able to work in a Team environment or as an individual supporting a key piece of software for an operating facility
This position will be based in our Edmonton office. Relocation Expenses may be considered for the right candidate.
