Job Description:
We are looking for an energetic Senior Manager to take charge of the credit union’s financial and technology operations.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and direct the overall financial planning and performance activities of the credit union
• Design and develop both short and long term strategies to monitor and stimulate growth
• Research and present strategies in relation to policy positioning, interest rates, service charges, liquidity compliance and asset/liability management
• Monitor all credit union expenditures and ensure effective cost control measures are maintained
• Develop the technological capability of the credit union I.T. system and make recommendations for enhancements and improvements
Required Skills & Experience:
• Undergraduate degree and accounting designation, CGA, CMA, CA with 3-4 years exp. in financial services industry
• Experience in financial, banking, or accounting industry
• Strong communication skills with a proficiency in Punjabi an asset
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage effectively
• Ability to oversee this multi-million dollar organization and all branches effectively, reporting directly to the CEO.
