Responsible for obtaining request for quotes from different areas. The ideal candidate will maintain relationships with clients to introduce products and services available. In this position, responsibilities include price examinations, delivery and availability of the products, and investigates manufacturer coverage of products. The Quotations Specialist will also negotiate with a variety of suppliers to compromise pricing and delivery schedules as well as coordinating quotation with various suppliers to organize a complete package. Other duties of the quotations specialist’s include generating information from the contractors to determine if proposed bid packages will be used, ensuring strict delivery terms are observed, confirm delivery and coordinating schedules with the customer, and in some instances, arrange transportation of products.
Skills:
Minimum of 3 years experience in a quotation position, or a combination of education and experience
