Overview
This opportunity is for an experienced manager in the wholesale/distribution industry. You’ll be managing a commercial/residential product line of electrical products from wire & cable through to automation & control systems.
Product knowledge is crucial in this role so only those with an electrical background will be considered.
You will be responsible for stimulating the company’s Red Deer branch so even though this is an established company, this is a growth orientated opportunity. You will be re-organizing the inventory & staffing and your initial bonus system will have benchmarks to reflect your performance in these areas. This, coupled with GP and branch performance bonuses means there is a good deal of money to be made for someone willing to take this on as a project.

Required Qualifications & Experience
The selected candidate will have roughly 5 years experience as a sales manager or branch manager within the electrical/plumbing industry. You will be interacting with clients & suppliers of all levels so a solid understanding of the Red Deer culture and construction industry will be a strong asset.
As you will be restructuring this facility, business development and proven management skills are key for this position. Strong leadership and organizational skills are also required.
