This company sells patented technology to the truck & transport markets. You’ll be leading a solid sales team of five account managers - each of whom have their own product focus & specialization. As the sales manager you’ll be expected to be a product specialist on all of their products so a strong understanding of the trucking industry is required. This is a team of highly successful specialists and you’ll be responsible developing them to a higher level. You must be willing to travel overnight occasionally as tradeshows are often attended to stimulate growth and awareness.

Experience identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities
Superior communication skills
Passion for the heavy truck and transportation industry
Comfortable working with budgets to set contribution goals and sales targets
Strong customer service skills
Computer literacy
Must be willing to understand products and services in depth and meet with clients and Original Equipment Manufacturers
Ability to participate in and produce responses to Requests For Proposals and Requests For Tenders
Comfortable presenting products to clients, alone, with other departments, and with other sales representatives
Maintain current knowledge on market regulations, competitors, and clients
Provide leadership and solutions to the sales team and the company as a whole
Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
