Explore beautiful Northern Canada! With our client you’ll be able to fully exercise your surveying savvy on the tundra and just below the tree-line. During your downtime the opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, hiking, skiing, biking, and fishing are endless.
As Crew Chief you’ll be traveling throughout the Northwest Territories and Nunavut during all seasons to oversee various projects. You must possess strong leadership skills as you’ll be heading up crews and expected to act as a role-model. You must also be able to work independently as you will spend a great deal of time outside of the office. You must also possess top-notch decision-making skills and be able to apply them in the field.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Post secondary level Survey Engineering degree or diploma in Survey Technology
5 years of professional experience conducting legal or construction surveys
Familiarity with RTK, GPS systems
Knowledge of the MicroSurvey software platform
Relocation to the Yellowknife, NWT is required for this position and the company will cover some or all of the costs depending on the candidate
Leadership skills
A love of the outdoors is a sure asset
