Field Service Mechanic- Agricultural Equipment (Job # 523)

Our client is one of Canada's premier Agricultural Equipment Shops with multiple locations all across South-Western Ontario. With years of providing service to the Farming Communities all across Ontario, this company has set themselves in a prime position to have a long standing name in the industry. Currently, they are seeking a Field Service Mechanic to complete maintenance and repairs to their customer vehicles. The ideal candidate will be Journeyman Licensed in Agriculture, Truck & Coach and/or Heavy Equipment Repair and have 3+ years of Agricultural Maintenance/Repair experience, with strong knowledge of; Case IH, John Deere or New Holland Farm Equipment. Customer Service and the ability to work independently are prerequisites for this opportunity.
Your Duties will include:
• Maintain/Operate shop machine tools and equipment
• Diagnose, repair and re-condition agricultural machinery and/or equipment
• Perform set-up and PDI of new equipment
• Involve yourself in all necessary training to keep product knowledge current
• Be available for On-Call repairs

Compensation for this position falls between $25 - $27 per hour (Depending on Experience), double time for any repairs completed after hours + weekly on-call bonus & benefits after 3 month probation period.
