Interesting, new opportunity for heavy equipment mechanics who love doing rebuilds. Get away from preventative maintenance and spend your days dismantling, repairing and rebuilding large scale mining equipment. All rebuilds take place inside a new large shop, stay inside away from the elements while working on equipment. This opportunity is with a huge mining company that owns and operates their own fleet of equipment. Currently there are over 50 mechanics employed working in two different shops. The majority of work performed will be taking apart and rebuilding mining equipment that has been used in the field for the last year. Experience with Hydraulic repairs is required for this job. Electrical, transmission and engine work will also be done but to a lesser extent. Candidates must have a Red Seal Journeyman License as a heavy equipment mechanic. This position is located 20 minutes south of Edmonton in Niksu. Moving allowance is provided for applicants that need to move to the Edmonton/Niksu area for this role.

Pay rate starts at $33.00 per hour for the day shift with overtime available
