Shop Manager - Heavy Truck Repair (Job # 515)

One of North America’s largest transportation companies is in need of an experienced Shop Manager to oversee their Vancouver operations. This position is responsible for supervising a team of technicians and welders, ordering shop supplies, scheduling repairs/maintenance, inspecting finished work as well as keeping the shop in a given budget. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a technician with supervisory experience. This is a great opportunity for those looking to get off the floor or for a manager who is looking to join a company with room to grow. To be successful in this role candidates will need to have strong computer skills, basic math and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Pay range for this role varies depending on experience, this could be between $60,000 - $70,000 for the right candidate plus benefits.
