THE ROLE OF THE MANAGER/SENIOR TAX MANAGER
The expanding tax practice in Edmonton is looking for a highly motivated Manager/Senior Manager who is keen to demonstrate initiative and apply their ever growing knowledge of Canadian tax laws to assist their clients.
The Edmonton tax group offers stimulating opportunities for accountants interested in continuing their career in Tax, providing services in areas including: Domestic personal and corporate compliance, US personal and corporate compliance, corporate reorganizations, sales and indirect tax, SR&ED, mergers and acquisitions, and estates and trusts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and review corporate tax and compliance engagements
• Act as a leader in the management of our growing tax practice
• Proactively resolve tax related issues with clients and other staff members
• Supervising and coaching of junior professional staff
QUALIFICATIONS
• Completion of the CICA In-depth Tax course
• 2-4+ years post designation experience in public practice
• Experience in corporate and personal compliance
• Possess a recognized professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA)
• Be committed to providing exceptional client service
