The Function
Manage and carry out required Process Engineering responsibilities in support of projects and field services offered by the company to industrial clients worldwide, while ensuring customer requirements are identified and responded to in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. This is a combined field and office position where the process engineer takes gas samples at refineries, analyses the gas samples and makes recommendations. Areas you will be responsible for include:
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the Claus process.
Independently conduct SRU Performance Tests nationally and internationally, often as part of a team.
Onsite performance testing.
Engineering report preparation.
Assist with SRU startups and shutdowns.
Assist in developing/reviewing/updating company policies and manual coordination.
The Individual
To be successful in this position, you will be:
A chemical or process engineer with ideally two or more years of process engineering experience.
A team player that shows enthusiasm for learning or honing their skills in the Claus process and science of sulfur recovery.
Excellent written and verbal skills and a desire to learn to write analytical engineering reports to clients.
A track record of excellent customer focus and social skills that can assist with matching services to the clients needs.
The ability to view processes as a whole and pinpoint process problems.
A candidate that desires promotion by the demonstration of practical application of analytical ability and the desire to train new engineers as they are added to the team.
Willing to assist in trip preparation, field testing, data analysis and reporting.
Has a valid passport and can travel freely because although facilities are mostly in North America, they can also be worldwide.
