The Function
This position is responsible developing the delivery strategy to support the growth of the Western Region territory, which encompasses Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia along with North & South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Oregon, Nevada, and California. It is an Operations leadership role that spans Operations into Sales (30-50% of the time is spent working with sales to define delivery strategy and working with clients to assess satisfaction with services provided).
Manage a pool of Project Managers to support all project execution activities and provide the delivery strategy for the territory.
Drive growth of revenue, margin, and customer intimacy consistent with territory business objectives. Expanding presence in both CAPEX and OPEX domains with clients in the territory.
Responsible for financial objectives with main focus on revenue value growth, cash, and margin improvement.
30-50% of role to be focused on client facing activities ensuring client satisfaction and client value in the area of project execution and lifecycle support services.
Support the territory’s adherence to all global processes and tools as defined by delivery global functions.
Articulate territory needs to the global delivery functions, including resource requirements, tools and processes, skill and capabilities gaps.
Conduct monthly Delivery (project and service) reviews to ensure financial and customer satisfaction targets are met.
The Individual
An undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business (Computer Science may be considered). A Master’s, designation as a Professional Engineer, or certification in Professional Project Management (PMP) would be an asset.
10+ years experience leading teams in senior operations, project management, customer interactions, communications, or matrix organizations.
Demonstrated ability working in a matrix environment as a courageous, collaborative leader pulling teams together, establishing plans, making decisions, facilitating buy-in, and guaranteeing results.
Experience and expertise in managing growth and organizational change, and prioritizing projects and resources while fulfilling the promise to the client to deliver.
Is client focused to ensure satisfaction on delivery expectations while promoting delivery offerings to new clients. |
