Matrikon's Mobile Equipment Monitoring team is seeking a results driven individual who is looking for an opportunity to build upon their technical sales skills and intrapreneurial attitude.
Responsibility/Accountability:
· Financial Responsibility: Delivery of revenue and gross profit from assigned accounts at assigned targets; Management of resource time/expenses/purchases on assigned projects and resource expenditure towards business development activities
· Business Development: Identify, plan, manage, and execute business development activities both in development of new accounts and expansion of existing accounts.. Develop, plan, and manage technology roadmaps with customers. Identify strategic initiatives within assigned accounts and position Company to support them. Identify, follow-up and progress new account opportunities.
· Account Management: Develop and manage account development plans; develop and maintain strategic customer relationships; develop and maintain master agreements; manage, track, and report project delivery to customer requirements, work with operations managers and support manager to ensure customer satisfaction is grown and maintained.
· Project execution: work with execution team in support of project design and development of best practices. Work with operations manager to manage project resources appropriately. Provide advice and consulting on engineering activities required for the satisfactory completion of project deliverables.
Required Skills
· Proven ability to generate new business and develop existing accounts
· Must have knowledge of the process industries, ie. Mining, Oil & Gas, Power, or Refining.
· Ability to manage client relationships and expectations at all levels
· Ability to plan, delegate and manage tasks and issues, their priorities and interdependencies
· Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to all levels of the organization
· Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Ability to compile and present data to management, salespeople and customers
· Results oriented self-starter who has the ability to work with minimal supervision
· Willing to travel nationally and internationally
· Salary will be dependant on experience and proven results
Knowledge Required:
· Post-Secondary Education, a technical, IT or Engineering degree/diploma
· A thorough understanding of Business and Information Technology concepts
· Minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in technical sales
