Our client, a large international consumer packaged goods company, is looking for a Financial Analyst - Budgeting for their North Toronto office. This organization offers unparalleled growth for rising stars including opportunities to take on new projects, promotion to other areas of the finance team and for the right candidate promotion to leadership to international locations.
This role focuses on maintenance of their complex budget system including maintaining rolling forecasts, updating pricing changes and variance analysis. Ad hoc projects are regular in this role including scenario analysis, modeling and liaising with business units. At budget preparation time, this individual will work with senior members of the team to create and upload the budget documents to SAP.
Applicants must have 3+ years of finance experience where the majority of time spent working with budget processes. A degree or diploma in Business is required, ideally with a focus in Accounting/Finance. This individual must have completed or be in later stages on a Canadian Accounting designation (CA/CMA/CGA). Working experience with Canadian GAAP is also a must. Experience with US GAAP and SAP would be assets.
