Our client is experiencing extreme growth across North America and is looking to add to their corporate finance team in Mississauga. This is a role to grow into for a candidate who thrives on new challenges and can learn quickly. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, you will have an opportunity to be mentored by the best. This role focuses on franchise accounting including agreement reviews, billings, taxes, budgeting and supporting franchisee questions. Corporate functions of the role include complex FX translations, building internal controls for new franchises, consolidations and creating reporting tools. This role is expected to grow into more of a leadership role with opportunity to help create systems, controls and framework.
A Canadian CA designation is required for this role. Focusing on public company audits or industry experience within a medium sized public firm is required. Experience with franchise accounting is required. Experience with rental equipment or retail industry would be strong assets. The pace of this role dictates the need for a quick, sharp business-minded CA to jump in with both feet.
