Job Description:
Verify Inc is seeking a source inspector to work about 1-2 days/month in Pickering, Ontario
Requirement:
• Source Inspection, Test Witnessing and Corrective Action Follow-up. Note: These inspections are “Customer Witness Inspections”
• Candidates must have energy industry experience because the Project Specialists will be representing the customer during the witness inspections
• PROJECT: M.A.427 GAIL (Unit 1)
• COMMODITIES: Lube Oil Skid, Pumps, Electric Motors, Wiring
• ACTIVITIES: Witness, Visual Inspection, Witness NDT Radiographic, Witness Hydrotest, Witness Line Leak Test, Final Inspection of Paint, Dimensions, Cleaning, Shipment Preparation, and Tagging
• ACTIVITY DATES: 11/20/09 - 11/22/09 (recurring job every so often)
• Computer access: Candidates must have access to a home pc, but preferably a laptop.
• Skills: Microsoft Office, Internet and Email
• Good communication and writing skills
• Comfortable working as Independent Contractor (1099 Tax Form) with flat rate pay for this assignment
