Journeyman or Apprentice Trailer Mechanic job opportunities!
Status: Permanent Job ID# 4851 Shift: Rotating 7:00am-4:00pm // 12:00pm - 9:00pm
City/Province: Grand Prairie, Lloyd Minister and Edmonton Pay: $28.00 per hour

In this role you would perform routine duties and assignments relating to the repair, maintenance, inspection and certification of tanker trailers. More complex tasks and assignments will be assigned as skills increase and technical knowledge is gained through on the job training.
Qualifications:
■ Basic tractor truck operation desirable (class 3 license with Q endorsement)
■ May have some technical or pre-employment training
■ Some tanker trailer repair shop experience
■ Initially must have a basic understanding of routine elements of the job (i.e.: shop safety, shop work practices, mechanical systems, use of all hand and power tools and may include some basic welding)
■ Must be physically fit and of reasonable strength and endurance to perform the duties required in a tanker trailer shop operation.
■ Be capable of working outside in all weather conditions occasionally
■ Must be aware of personal limitations and request assistance when unfamiliar situations arise
■ Good communication and computer skills
■ Ability to meet deadlines
■ Strong organizational skills
