We have an immediate opening for a Sales/Fleet Coordinator in our Coquitlam location. This position requires an individual who will have excellent customer service skills, demonstrated superior organizational capabilities, excellent communication and phone skills, work well in a team environment, and must be able to work with minimal supervision. You will have an Operations Mgt, Business Admin, Management accreditation or minimum 5 years exp in a heavy equipment or vehicle dealership environment; a basic understanding of business math, calculating trade discounts, and time value of money. You must posses MS office, outlook and internet skills; the ability to understand, analyze and decide on a course of action given budget, time, resource constraints and conflicting priorities. Prior experience in the heavy equipment industry or with SILK software will be considered an asset but are not required.
Responsibilities to include coordinating sales for a designated region and sales reps, coordinating all aspects of the order to delivery process for each sale. Other duties will be pre sales support which includes estimating, pricing, product spec comparison or custom shop options for specific applications; accepting and authorizing new orders to be processed following credit approval, purchasing from several different vendors, placing work orders to our own shops for order modifications, scheduling prep work, organizing freight, utilizing existing inventory to fill orders, detailed data entry into our business data systems and invoicing end customers or finance companies. You will follow set guidelines and processes at each stage to maximize and exceed profitability, orders filled excellence, cash flow and stock turnover targets while communicating effectively with your reps on anticipated ship dates and inventory levels.
